I used the Open Office method…. but how esoteric can it get to do something so simple. It worked but I would prefer a very simple program that did the same thing. Just searching for freeware that might do the same thing, if not, I will have to write my own program!

I tried the Notepad++ method, it worked very well !! Thanks. Removing the carriage return saves me a lot of paper. I am grateful to your great idea.
